On New Year’s Day I was at the National Museum of American History in Washington DC. Near the entrance was this board with sticky notes next to it. The museum asked its visitors to write their New Year’s Resolutions for America. It is interesting to see what people want to see change (I tried not to judge too much). Well, I did feel like judging the four people who said to get rid of speeding cameras… I mean really, of all things? I did appreciate those that were very real about what aspects of America they really wanted to see improve… “Congress should stop yelling at each other!”—Wouldn’t we all love to see that? Hopefully 2012 will be a good year and the world won’t end.
What do you think America’s New Year’s Resolutions should be?
